Digital literacy and generative AI fundamentals
A day to lay the common foundation: what an AI assistant really does, what to double-check in its output, and what to keep out of its hands. Each participant leaves with 3 prompts tested on their own tasks and a 30-day action plan.
This training course is designed for:
The employee who tinkers
They already use an assistant without telling anyone, with mixed results and doubts about what they're allowed to paste into it.
The polite skeptic
They tried it once, the answer contained a mistake, and they filed the tool under gadgets.
The frontline manager
Their team asks them about tools and data, and they'd like to be able to answer.

Learning objectives
The learning objectives of this training course can be assessed. By the end of the session, each participant will be able to:
- Describe the path work data takes between the workstation, the company network and an online service, and identify the points to watch along the way
- Explain how a generative language model works and state its limits: approximations, knowledge cutoff, no verified sources by default
- Tell apart the tasks in their job where an AI assistant pays off from those that call for another tool or a human decision
- Write a structured prompt that includes the context, the task, the material provided, the expected format and the quality criteria
- Refine an output through successive iterations until it gives a usable result after review
- Check a generated output before any professional use by verifying facts, figures and sources
- Apply the privacy rules that cover documents submitted to a generative AI tool and configure their account accordingly
- Build an individual 30-day action plan with targeted uses, dated checkpoints and tracking indicators
Audience and prerequisites
Audience. All employees of a company or public organization, whatever their role: administrative, sales, technical, support and production functions. Teams that will use a generative AI assistant provided by their employer. Frontline managers who support their teams on digital practices and data handling rules. People who want to build a common foundation before moving on to more advanced job-specific training.
Prerequisites. No programming prerequisites and no prior experience with generative AI needed. The hands-on work happens in a web browser and in the office apps the trainee already uses; the trainer shows each step, then the trainee repeats it step by step on their own computer. Everyday computer use: web browser, email, word processing, file management. A job that includes recurring written tasks (emails, meeting notes, standard replies, tracking spreadsheets). Prior use of a chat assistant helps, though it is optional.
Each participant's actual level is checked before the session with a pre-course assessment questionnaire, which is used to adjust the outline.
Program
The full outline, sequence by sequence, is in the detailed program you receive before registering.

Teaching methods and resources
The course alternates between demonstrations with commentary, guided workshops and hands-on practice on participants' real cases. Theory is limited to what you need to put things into practice.
- A practitioner trainer who works on the topics taught
- Course materials given to each participant
- Each participant works on their own computer with their own files
- Environment prepared in advance and tested before the session
In person
The course takes place at the client's premises. The client provides a room with a projector or screen, an internet connection and one computer per participant.
Remote
The course runs as a live virtual classroom: the group and the trainer meet at set times. Exchanges happen by voice, screen sharing and chat, in both directions and throughout the session. Each participant's login is recorded and serves as the attendance record. Technical support is available by email and phone throughout the session, and a connection test is offered ahead of the session.
Hybrid
A single session can bring together on-site and remote participants. The trainer leads from the in-person venue, and remote participants follow in a virtual classroom with the same individual support and the same deliverables.
Assessment and certification
- Pre-course assessment questionnaire before the training starts
- Continuous assessment through the exercises produced during the session
- Final assessment of learning against the objectives listed above
- Satisfaction questionnaire at the end of the course, then a follow-up a few weeks later
The course leads to an end-of-training certificate stating the objectives and the assessment results, and to a certificate of completion sent to the funding body where applicable.
Jessy knows his subject inside out and, above all, shares it passionately with his students. His advice and follow-up will certainly help the CAMPUS 2023 apprentices and the clubs where they work. I very strongly recommend him.
