Build and manage web pages with Claude

A day to take a page from start to finish: the brief, the content, the layout, the pre-publication check and going live. Each participant leaves with their page live, the brand foundation Claude reuses afterward, and a template to produce the next ones.

1 day, 7 hours In person, remote or hybrid Marketing and communications
A person steps back to judge the balance of the blocks on a web page they have just put together

This training course is designed for:

The communications officer

They know exactly which page to publish for their campaign, and the wait to get it online runs to weeks.

The marketing manager

She produces campaign pages again and again and wants them out at the right time, in line with the brand guidelines.

The business owner who publishes alone

They run their company website and have been putting off the pages that need redoing for months.

Learning objectives

The learning objectives of this training course can be assessed. By the end of the session, each participant will be able to:

  • Write a structured page brief that Claude can use (goal, audience, key message, structure, call to action, brand constraints and legal constraints)
  • Set up a Claude project holding the lasting context of their brand (guidelines, voice, offers, proof points, mandatory notices) and use it as the foundation for all their pages
  • Use Claude to produce the written content of a page (headline, sections, proof points, calls to action) consistent with that context, and review it critically
  • Build a standalone web page from their own content and iterate on its rendering until it displays correctly on desktop and mobile
  • Check a page before publication with a quality and accessibility grid: heading hierarchy, contrast, alt text, links, form, image file size, legal notices
  • Publish the page in their organization's web environment and fill in the SEO and sharing elements (title, description, URL, share image)
  • Turn the page produced into a reusable template and command to produce the next pages and update existing ones
  • Build an individual 30-day action plan that includes the pages to produce, the internal approval process and measurable tracking indicators

Audience and prerequisites

Audience. Marketing, communications and acquisition managers and officers who produce campaign pages and product pages. Writers, content officers and community managers who supply content to their organization's website. Product managers and offer managers who currently depend on a third party to publish a page. Independent professionals and business owners who manage their own company website.

Prerequisites. No prerequisites in programming or design. The trainer reads and explains the code Claude produces during the session; the trainee directs the build of their page in plain language and checks the result in their browser. Going live during the session requires access to web hosting with publishing rights, which is checked during the pre-course assessment. Regular practice producing marketing or communications content. Knowledge of their organization's web environment: the publishing tool used, who approves, who publishes. Comfortable with everyday digital tools: browser, office suite, file manager.

Each participant's actual level is checked before the session with a pre-course assessment questionnaire, which is used to adjust the outline.

Program

The full outline, sequence by sequence, is in the detailed program you receive before registering.

Understand what Claude produces for the web (interactive artifact, standalone page files, content that fits into an existing site) and choose the right interface for your environment. Watch a page handled from start to finish, from brief to going live, on a case brought by a trainee.
Build a brand context file Claude can use on all your future pages. Produce the structure and written content of your page from the approved brief.
Build a standalone page from the content approved in the morning and the brand guideline elements. Iterate on the rendering until it displays correctly on desktop and mobile.
Publish your page in your organization's web environment or in your staging environment. Fill in the page's SEO and sharing elements and check how it actually displays.
Turn the page produced into a reusable template and command. Formalize a concrete and measurable 30-day action plan.

Teaching methods and resources

The course alternates between demonstrations with commentary, guided workshops and hands-on practice on participants' real cases. Theory is limited to what you need to put things into practice.

  • A practitioner trainer who works on the topics taught
  • Course materials given to each participant
  • Each participant works on their own computer with their own files
  • Environment prepared in advance and tested before the session

In person

The course takes place at the client's premises. The client provides a room with a projector or screen, an internet connection and one computer per participant.

Remote

The course runs as a live virtual classroom: the group and the trainer meet at set times. Exchanges happen by voice, screen sharing and chat, in both directions and throughout the session. Each participant's login is recorded and serves as the attendance record. Technical support is available by email and phone throughout the session, and a connection test is offered ahead of the session.

Hybrid

A single session can bring together on-site and remote participants. The trainer leads from the in-person venue, and remote participants follow in a virtual classroom with the same individual support and the same deliverables.

Assessment and certification

  • Pre-course assessment questionnaire before the training starts
  • Continuous assessment through the exercises produced during the session
  • Final assessment of learning against the objectives listed above
  • Satisfaction questionnaire at the end of the course, then a follow-up a few weeks later

The course leads to an end-of-training certificate stating the objectives and the assessment results, and to a certificate of completion sent to the funding body where applicable.

Jessy knows his subject inside out and, above all, shares it passionately with his students. His advice and follow-up will certainly help the CAMPUS 2023 apprentices and the clubs where they work. I very strongly recommend him.

Questions?

Jessy Martin Academy is a registered training provider [declared to the French State], so your company can charge the cost to its skills development plan [the employer's training budget under French law]. Funding from an OPCO [French skills operator that funds employee training] also requires Qualiopi certification [France's quality certification for training providers], which is in preparation.
The time between your request and the start date is set during the scoping call and appears in the training agreement [the contract French law requires for each training course]. Allow 15 days minimum, longer if an outside funder is involved.
Yes. That is exactly what scoping is for: the outline adjusts to your industry, your tools and the participants' actual level, checked with a pre-course assessment questionnaire before the session.
Let us know in our first conversation. Together we look at adjustments to materials, pace, duration or assessment. The details are on our quality page.
No. You describe your page in plain language and check the result in your browser. The trainer reads and explains the code Claude produces during the session, so you know what you are publishing.
A laptop with installation rights, an active Claude Pro or Max subscription, publishing access to your organization's website or to a staging environment, and your brand assets: brand guidelines, logos, visuals you hold the usage rights to, legal notices. You or your company pay for the subscription.
